In addition to supporting teaching, research and technology, the Reproduction Unit strives for continuous quality improvement in all its procedures, and regularly updates its license and accreditation:
- Certificate of registration in the official register of health centres, services and establishments (Registro Oficial de Centros, Servicios y Establecimientos Sanitarios) in the Community of Valencia for all assisted reproduction techniques
- National external quality control programme for assisted reproduction laboratories (CEIFER)
- External quality evaluation programme for semen analysis (CEIFER)
- ISO 9001
- National register of the Spanish fertility society (Sociedad Nacional de Fertilidad)
- Company quality audit by OZOOA International
- Authorisation by the Department of Health of the Community of Valencia for the freezing of eggs and ovarian tissue and their subsequent fertilisation under fertility preservation programmes.
